Ok, so I admit it, it’s a shameless post but I had to do it! I recently decided to change my Coquito for Etsy shop into something different from my website. I have recently become interested in a more vintage feel, and started to play with it a bit. Buying beads from other Etsyians, I started putting together a collection of vintage and mod styled pieces. Let me know what you think! here are a few pairs of earrings, there are a few necklaces to come hopefully this week too!
“Vintage Green Swarovski Disco Balls” $18
(All images and designs are propery of Coquito Designs.)

I am forever having an Indie Clothing downer because I have yet to find a company who carries a real plus sized line, sooooooooo since I cannot buy from most of these companies, I have to share them with the rest of you, with the hopes that you will be able to partake in the fun and inspiring designs for me!!! I was looking for red, (it’s a favorite color of mine) and up popped this Red Riding Hood dress/tunic from Replicca Clothing. I was instantly intrigued, so I continued to browse and am I glad I did. There are tons of absolutely adorable tops and tunic dresses available from their shop. I was attracted to the shoulder detailing and also the feminine bows and ruffles! Hailing from Ontario Canada, all the shop’s owner and designer Rebecca Duyzer want to do is “romace her sweing machines all day”, and from the looks of her designs I think that’s a good idea…keep em coming!
1. “Patchwork the Second, Large” $47
2. “Tease Me Please, SALE, Small” $32.75
3. “Ruffle Ruffle Bow, Small” $46
4. “Stripe Me Delighted, Medium” $47
5. “Little Red Riding HOOD, Large” $55
6. “Sail Away With Me, Medium” $38.75
(All images and designs are property of Replicca Clothing.)

I am forever searching for things that are hand sewn, mostly because I cannot even imagine having the patience to sew something so intricate…but also because I’m finding that I love fabric! These pieces from SaltyGal on Etsy are one of a kind and truly unique. If you know someone who knits the crochet set below would be a perfect gift too! I love the colors in the fabric she has chosen! She also makes mac book covers for those trendy friends of yours! I have also had custom appliance covers made, I’ll have to take some photos to post them at some point!
“Curious Owls Ribbon Headband” $8
“Marching Robots Zip Case” $21
(All images and designs are property of SaltyGal on Etsy!)

I saw these little guys on Etsy’s main page and I was smitten! Who wouldn’t wanna cuddle up to one of these little balls of poufy fur? Zygopsyche‘s adorable little guinea pigs and bunnies tickled my fancy, and I’m sure they’re tickle yours with all that fuzz! They come in a larger momma size as well as a baby size so you can buy the whole family! Despite them looking a bit like a tribble I have never seen anything like them and thought they were a perfect gift for a dear little one this holiday season.
Also, I’d like to dedicate this post to Shalana at The Funky Felter.
“Jack Stuffed Rabbit-momma sized” $33
“Pokey the Rabbit-momma sized” 33
(All images and designs are property of Zygopsyche!)

I already own some of Joom’s pillows so I feel it’s safe to post, allthough these are calling me too! I picked them for their earthy feel. I love the texture and muted colors of the linen-like fabric, and the contrast against the darker solids. If you are looking to add some interest to a side charir or spruce up your couch for the Fall, take a peek in the shop!!
Clockwise from top left:
“Plum Cardinal Throw Pillow” $32
“Brown Hummingbird 16″ Pillow” $33
“Slate Cardinal Throw Pillow” $32
“Turquoise Cardinal Throw Pillow 10.5″
(All photos and designs are property of Joom!)

I am the headband queen, you may beg to differ. But I am. I buy them CONSTANTLY in an attempt to tame my curly locks! My favorite kinds? Handmade of course…thick ones and thin ones and bright ones and dark ones. A headband for every mood is my motto. What do I love more than headbands? Headbands with an Asian flair! And I found some at Looby Lou Crafts. I was gonna post the ones I really loved…but decided to buy them for myself instead…SORRY! Maybe I’ll post pics of me wearing them later on! For now, check out these others in the shop:
“Japanese Cherry Blossom on Red” $7.95
“Japanese Tangled Ume Blossom on Purple” $7.95
“Japanese Blossom on Pink” $7.95
(All images and designs are property of Looby Lou Crafts!)

I found Gabriel’s Aunt on my cue in recent posts and while searching for an alternative to the candles in the stores. I want something more natural, and something that’s not toxic as it burns. I turned of course to Etsy to see what I could find. The candles and perfumes are made with 100% natural elements and customers say that they love the warm and gentle “throw” that the candles give off. As opposed to the harsh “yankee candle” effect, soy candles burn with a much more mellow scent that permeates every room! Great gifts for the holidays especially for a Holiday Party for your host and hostess! I also wanted to mention a blog post that was made by Gabriel’s Aunt on her blog that I really felt needed to be shared. Please take a look at the post and lets all remember to support Handmade this season, and always: Today’s Post on Gabriels’ Aunt.
“Walk in the Woods, Pine and Juniper
Woodsy and Fresh Scented 8oz. Candle” $23
“Sweet Magnolia Solid Perfume Cream, Magnolia, Mimosa and Citrus Scent” $30
(All images and items and scents are property of Gabriel’s Aunt.)

I revisit this next CS Designs Etsy shop (Cserdan) many times a year and I even own some of her pieces! What keeps bringing me back is her gift, she can re-invent simplicity…over and over again! Her necklaces, bracelets and earrings are earth-inspired pieces that are simple, yet so complicated…they are many colors, but are balanced all at once in one necklace. “How hard can it be to string beads together?” Is a question I’ve heard one too many times at craft shows…and it always irks me. The amount of patience, and talent and understanding of color and textures that goes into doing what she does floors me! The colors and shapes and textures actually make me hungry almost, they’re that savory and rich! I’m actually kinda bummed featuring this necklace, for I am sure someone will scoop it up! I actually find myself wondering why she isn’t an interior designer too…and I wonder what her house must look like…
