I saw these little guys on Etsy’s main page and I was smitten! Who wouldn’t wanna cuddle up to one of these little balls of poufy fur? Zygopsyche‘s adorable little guinea pigs and bunnies tickled my fancy, and I’m sure they’re tickle yours with all that fuzz! They come in a larger momma size as well as a baby size so you can buy the whole family! Despite them looking a bit like a tribble I have never seen anything like them and thought they were a perfect gift for a dear little one this holiday season.
Also, I’d like to dedicate this post to Shalana at The Funky Felter.
“Jack Stuffed Rabbit-momma sized” $33

I already own some of Joom’s pillows so I feel it’s safe to post, allthough these are calling me too! I picked them for their earthy feel. I love the texture and muted colors of the linen-like fabric, and the contrast against the darker solids. If you are looking to add some interest to a side charir or spruce up your couch for the Fall, take a peek in the shop!!
Clockwise from top left:
“Plum Cardinal Throw Pillow” $32
“Brown Hummingbird 16″ Pillow” $33
“Slate Cardinal Throw Pillow” $32

I revisit this next CS Designs Etsy shop (Cserdan) many times a year and I even own some of her pieces! What keeps bringing me back is her gift, she can re-invent simplicity…over and over again! Her necklaces, bracelets and earrings are earth-inspired pieces that are simple, yet so complicated…they are many colors, but are balanced all at once in one necklace. “How hard can it be to string beads together?” Is a question I’ve heard one too many times at craft shows…and it always irks me. The amount of patience, and talent and understanding of color and textures that goes into doing what she does floors me! The colors and shapes and textures actually make me hungry almost, they’re that savory and rich! I’m actually kinda bummed featuring this necklace, for I am sure someone will scoop it up! I actually find myself wondering why she isn’t an interior designer too…and I wonder what her house must look like…

When I first started my blogging, it was not glamorous, I usually did it sitting on my couch at night with my laptop in hand. Now, I have a desk where I blog, with all manner of motivational Indie pieces surrounding me. One of these pieces is a mouse pad from Mirrorgirl on Etsy! It is my favorite mouse pad EVER, so much so that it recently had a little accident, so I went to buy it BACK! While there, I found there are even MORE fun mouse pads and mirrors going on in the shop. I repurchased my pad, and thought I’d share some others with you. My favorites are the vintage ladies with sarcastic smartness….but there are so many more! There are featured illustrators, and the newest crowned animals…and if you are looking for something in particular, or a custom pad or mirror then visit My Favorite Mirror, and your wish will come true!
(this is the one I will soon own again, it’s so me!)
Crowned Animals…come on what’s better than a royal kitteh? Here are the links
so you can adopt one for your desk:
1.Tabby cat in Crown 2.Boston Terrier in Crown 3.Springer Spaniel Crowned 4.Blue Russian Crowned

It’s not cold yet, but it will be soon…YAY! That means it will be time for comfy sweaters, and knits! On that note, I saw these pieces by Coccole di Lana on Etsy’s main page Saturday afternoon. I really love the first one, it’s got a vintage feel, and I love the flower details. Each one has a different stitch and feel. There are more things in the shop too…some scarves and also beautiful knit necklaces. Made by hand from Merino wool, mohair and even silk these pieces are not only fun but functional….as if you’d need another reason to buy one!!!

I love the vintage quality to these pieces from Liebling Designs. They’re made using silk flowers and beading. The colors and the simple and elegant look make them easy to wear with almost anything. They would be particularly fantastic for an occasion at night to brighten up a little black dress! I’ve never really seen someone use silk flowers as jewelry in such a successful way…they always look cumbersome. These pieces look like they’re not only easy to wear, but they’d garner lots of attention from curious and jealous onlookers!

Bill from House of Six Cats Photography is a good friend of mine, and I wanted to post about some of his photos! He is also the co-leader of POE, the Photographers of Etsy! I recently fell in love with some of his florals. They are beautiful and soft with a hint of sadness. I love the sepia toning, it gives them a really organic feel. I think these three would make a beautiful series!

Birdies, birdies and more birdies!! Ok, so Joanna Rutter does have jewelry with other motifs in her Etsy Shop, but…I can’t resist the silo of a little fat birdie. I love the simplicity and perfect balance of her pieces. They are sophisticated and cute at the same time, and just make me feel good looking at them. I can hear the birdies chirping…can’t you?
