I am recently into a cute pocket mirror, and have been rounding some up for my Indie gifts for the holidays.  I decided to make little baskets for friends of mine with sample sized items and jewelry from Indie artists!  I would LOVE to add these adorable little pocket mirrors from Paper, Pattern & Silk! Also I found really modern clean jewelry pieces on this site.  I love glass beads and anything with a vintage feel.  These pieces have a mod yet vintage look and I love how they are simple and well balanced.  It’s not too early to start thinking about the holidays…

Birdies, birdies and more birdies!! Ok, so Joanna Rutter does have jewelry with other motifs in her Etsy Shop, but…I can’t resist the silo of a little fat birdie. I love the simplicity and perfect balance of her pieces. They are sophisticated and cute at the same time, and just make me feel good looking at them. I can hear the birdies chirping…can’t you?

I was looking for some vintage buttons on Etsy when I came across Mom-O-Matic’s Automat shop! I fell instantly in love with her vintage flower button rings and felt the need to share. I’m partial to the pearly pink one, all though I love the design of the purple flower too. I thought they were a perfect little pop of spring on your finger…or maybe just a little piece of unexpected flair for your outfit. Either way they are totally fun and I think everyone needs one! There more designs in the shop to be had, I was just partial to the ones with petals!  (Added bonus – the pink one’s on SALE!!!)

Delia’s Delight jewelry is one of the artists featured in the Indie Love Spring Guide! It’s her attention to detail, creative use of color, and understanding of texture that always catches my eye. I have chosen two of my favorite pieces from her Etsy Shop. I am loving all things white this season, don’t know why, I just do! I recently received a comment on one of my posts from a 12 year old jewelry maker named Cambria!  She runs her business with the help of her mom and dad.  She comes to read the blog because she finds  it inspiring…I was so touched!  She’s been making jewelry for 2 years and recently opened an Etsy shop called Cambria’s Creations.  Part of the reason I post is to share other people’s work with the world…I an overjoyed that it is inspiring young craft artists!  I checked out Cambria’s Etsy Shop and found quite a few beautifully crafted creations.  (She’s quite the talented young lady!!!)  Here are my favorites: (I’m partial to green can you tell?)

I love the messages on these pendants by Allison Strine Designs and the well put together imagery. They make excellent gifts for others or for yourself. Sometimes you need a little mantra tucked behind your pendant to remind you who you are or who you want to be…or just to get you through a rough time.

I would like to introduce you to Georgie Love, and online shop of Australian Crafters and their wears.  Shop owner, Sally is a self professed “geek-girl who likes comics, animals, music, apple computers and the sofa.
