It has come to my attention that lately everyone is into organic. First it was food…and now it’s everything else! I have to admit we jumped on the healthier food wagon awhile ago, and have been eating more organic foods. A friend of mine is pregnant and due soon and I was invited to her shower and she is 100% into organic everything for her new baby. It got me thinking….what a great post for my blog! Matilda Jane makes sweet, cheeky clothing for little girls to be themselves in! The pieces are fun and bright with a whimsical feel, they make you smile just looking at them. I can only imagine what it would feel like to be a little one wearing these fantastical pieces. They speak to childhood, and imagination to me, and if they’d have been around when I was a little girl…I would have lived in them!

Browsing through alchemy on Etsy, I found this lovely seller Fairy Tales Unlimited who had the most adorable tutus I have ever seen! What a great idea for dress up, or for photos of your little one. (I even found one in adult size in the sold items!!!) I couldn’t help it, when I saw the photo of this little baby wearing it, I found myself going “awwww…..” See for yourself!

I don’t even remember how I came across LolaBee’s site, but when I found it again in my favorites I immediately knew why it was there!  There are tons of cute little plushies on the site…my favorites are the Mini Kookies below but there are so many more to get acquainted with on the site!  I love the forms and colors…and the fabrics.  I really just fell in love with them, they reminded me of a dolly I had when I was a little girl.  And not to worry…there are Mr. Kookies for your little man too!

This next post is close to my heart…8) I heart piggies…aside from the fact that they’re just plain cute, and I love their fuzzy little piggy snouts, I had a favorite and fabulous uncle…(not unlike the one in the nutcracker) who would bring me slightly odd and wonderful gifts! He looooved pigs! He had a marionette pig in his kitchen, and various piggy serving pieces. Every time we were out and found one my mother and I were always inclined to add to his collection…soooo…when I saw the pyramid of piggies and the pig cupcake in Sugar Elf’s Etsy Shop, I hearted them both IMMEDIATELY! My hubby, smart man that he is…knows to check out my hearts for any gifting…so they were both mine for Valentine’s Day!! YAY!! The cupcake just blows my mind with all of it’s details…

I was laughing out loud in my office when I found these little guys…each one is cuter than the next, and they are all so funny and loveable.  My Little Ooga Booga creates little monster pals for your little one…or for youeself…  Never again do you have to worry about being alone in the dark…your little Ooga Booga will keep you company.  Seriously though, they are so cute they’re killing me…take a peek and let me know what you think!

I admit it, I am utterly addicted to cute.  These little stuffed friends from Cupcakes for Clara feed my addiction and then some.  You can adopt a fat little robin, or a polar bear family or even a panda or a kitty!  I have a few of these favorited and am mildly afraid of them disappearing if I post them, but…I must for the greater good.  Anyway, they’re cute, they’re well made and seriously who doesn’t need a fat little robin on their shelf…surely we all do?

I fell in love with this little gingerbread men set in the Robin’s Egg Pink Boutique!  There are many other sweet and wonderful items in the store but these little guys just jumped out at me!  What a beautiful and unique gift for a special little one!

I love anything whimsical, and also have a love for bright colors.  This hooded sweater by Pink Willow Designs is exactly the type of thing I would buy for a child of mine.  It’s bright and fun and full of detail!  I love the flowers and the tassle detail on the back of the hood!  Makes a great unique gift for someone you love lots!  As for the scarf, I’d buy it for myself…lol…I love the way it bleeds from color to color…and we’re going to be needing scarves soon here in NY!!!
