Browsing through alchemy on Etsy, I found this lovely seller Fairy Tales Unlimited who had the most adorable tutus I have ever seen! What a great idea for dress up, or for photos of your little one. (I even found one in adult size in the sold items!!!) I couldn’t help it, when I saw the photo of this little baby wearing it, I found myself going “awwww…..” See for yourself!

House Of Six Cats Photography

I have recently discovered TTV photography (the images are taken “through the viewfinder” of an older camera  to give the images a more vintage feel.) on Etsy and I love the look of it!  Aside from photos, I found these pretty little night lights by House of Six Cats Photography!  They are a beautiful addition to any room in the daytime, and then at night, a soft glowing image appears!  They have daylight sensors too so  you don’t have to turn them on and off.  Also, they make the perfect gift for that friend of yours who is still afraid of the dark…(like me!!)

“Zen Bridge Art Night-light” $12

“Aged Flowers Art Night-light” $12

Tis the season…well…almost…8)  I found these beautifully decorated ornaments from Ruby Clover on Etsy and thought they would make such beautiful gifts!  If you are invited to one of those Christmas get togethers and you really don’t wanna bring the same bottle of wine…(or maybe you’ll bring it anyway with a little something extra) these ornaments would be so much fun!  They are great on the tree or even in a bowl for decoration!

I love me some romantic and beautiful photography…so when I came across these prints by House of Six Cats on Etsy, I felt the need to share them! They come in a set of 3 images as 5×5 inch prints. They would look perfect on the wall in your little girl’s room, or in your craft room or office for inspiration. Nature at it’s finest! I also dig the vintage feel they have. I am sure if you asked he’d even make some cards for you…they would make a lovely set of cards!

Modern Art Everyday

July 30th, 2007 Kristen Posted in Artwork, For The Home 1 Comment »

First I’d like to apologize for my recent absence, I was at a wonderful wedding in Lexington, Kentucky and we were trapped at the airport for hours on the way home…totally worth every minute tho…8) Friends of ours Jay and Angelia were married on Saturday, July 28th! Congratulations to them! (here’s a sneak peek below and then my regular post….)

I came across Modern Art Everyday on Etsy. I am drawn to the clean but organic lines in the pieces, and the earthy colors. My entire living room is painted Kermit the frog green and I know for a fact that these pillows would go with my couch! Take a look at their store, below are my favorites: (there are many more, but I couldn’t post half the store here…8)

“Spring Buds - 14 x 14″ $35

“Falling Leaves - 14 x 14 Pillow” $35

Cance on Etsy by Kelly McCollum

July 23rd, 2007 Kristen Posted in Artwork, Jewelry, Pets 1 Comment »

I found this lovely Esty shop by clicking on one of the newest items on the main page. I was instantly struck by her pencil drawings! You can choose the sizes, and if you send her photos and nicknames of your favorite animal pals, she will transform them into portraits of your best friends! Not limited to those of the canine persuasion…she is willing and able to also sketch cats, birds, gerbils or any other animals that you share your abode with! Please stop by and see Cance’s shop, as she also carries some eclectic vintagey jewelry, and a few beautiful digital photos!

The price range for a pet portrait are roughly as follows:

General prices:
4×6″ = $10
5×7″ = $12
8×10″ = $15

A small price to pay for a beautiful portrait of a most loved pet! I am thinking of having a portrait of our boys done:

“Felix”
“Oscar”
