I saw these piece by Heartworks by Lori on the Etsy main page on Tuesday and I had to share them! They’re pendants and pocket watch lockets that combine jewelry design with work by a well known Etsy photographer, Irene Suchocki. I love the combination of the cool metals and warm photography. They have a unique yet antique look and made me feel immediately nostalgic! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

I am forever searching for things that are hand sewn, mostly because I cannot even imagine having the patience to sew something so intricate…but also because I’m finding that I love fabric! These pieces from SaltyGal on Etsy are one of a kind and truly unique. If you know someone who knits the crochet set below would be a perfect gift too! I love the colors in the fabric she has chosen! She also makes mac book covers for those trendy friends of yours! I have also had custom appliance covers made, I’ll have to take some photos to post them at some point!

I am the headband queen, you may beg to differ. But I am. I buy them CONSTANTLY in an attempt to tame my curly locks! My favorite kinds? Handmade of course…thick ones and thin ones and bright ones and dark ones. A headband for every mood is my motto. What do I love more than headbands? Headbands with an Asian flair! And I found some at Looby Lou Crafts. I was gonna post the ones I really loved…but decided to buy them for myself instead…SORRY! Maybe I’ll post pics of me wearing them later on! When I first started my blogging, it was not glamorous, I usually did it sitting on my couch at night with my laptop in hand. Now, I have a desk where I blog, with all manner of motivational Indie pieces surrounding me. One of these pieces is a mouse pad from Mirrorgirl on Etsy! It is my favorite mouse pad EVER, so much so that it recently had a little accident, so I went to buy it BACK! While there, I found there are even MORE fun mouse pads and mirrors going on in the shop. I repurchased my pad, and thought I’d share some others with you. My favorites are the vintage ladies with sarcastic smartness….but there are so many more! It’s not cold yet, but it will be soon…YAY! That means it will be time for comfy sweaters, and knits! On that note, I saw these pieces by Coccole di Lana on Etsy’s main page Saturday afternoon. I really love the first one, it’s got a vintage feel, and I love the flower details. Each one has a different stitch and feel. There are more things in the shop too…some scarves and also beautiful knit necklaces. Made by hand from Merino wool, mohair and even silk these pieces are not only fun but functional….as if you’d need another reason to buy one!!!

I am recently into a cute pocket mirror, and have been rounding some up for my Indie gifts for the holidays. I decided to make little baskets for friends of mine with sample sized items and jewelry from Indie artists! I would LOVE to add these adorable little pocket mirrors from Paper, Pattern & Silk! Also I found really modern clean jewelry pieces on this site. I love glass beads and anything with a vintage feel. These pieces have a mod yet vintage look and I love how they are simple and well balanced. It’s not too early to start thinking about the holidays…
