hi! I stumbled upon your website yesterday (not even sure what I was looking for - quilts, I think…and one thing takes you to another ), and read the above post. Like everyone else, I thought the furniture was beautiful, but I didn’t know the manufacturer.
Today, I am sitting here going through my stack of magazines for things I’d like to post on my own site, and what do I see?? That furniture!!! How bizarre. Anyway, I know you posted this in February, and your friends have no doubt received an alternate gift, but I thought I’d pass the info along anyway. The credenza/buffet thing was featured in July/Aug 08 Metropolitan Home, pg 119. It is called ‘lake’ and can be found here:

I have no idea, but she’s got great taste. I love a couple of those pieces so if you find where they’re from let everyone know. I’ll keep my eyes open.
